Before & After Photos
Solana Beach
This recently constructed residence needed all new landscaping. Our design is partially an attempt to blend in the power pole as much as possible. We decided on a fairly tall tree between the pole and the house, so the client's view of the pole would be obscured. Grasses, shrubs and flowers soften the straight lines of the walkway.
Encinitas
This client has a relatively narrow entry to the front door, and wanted an Asian style. We installed this bamboo arbor and replaced the cedar plank fence with bamboo. Asian plants were installed to replace the flat grass and ground cover for a more vertical look.

This is the back yard of the home above. We replaced the railroad ties at the bottom of the slope with a new stacked block retaining wall. We built the corner pergola of redwood to include shelves to hold drinks or small potted plants. The structure was finished with a clear stain to preserve the beauty of the redwood. The fence was repaired and painted a complimentary color.
Soledad Mountain
A new deck had recently been added to this narrow backyard. We removed strips of lawn, replacing it with some shrubs and flowers. Pots were added at the patio columns to help soften their look. New spray and drip irrigation was required, for which we did some very cramped crawling under the deck.
